Mission
Next Step Fitness, Inc. strives to be the leading resource
for women's health and fitness. We are dedicated to empowering women to
take charge of their health care and their lives by providing patient
advocacy, education, health consulting and fitness training.
A woman committed to her health:
- Understands she is ultimately responsible for her health and is ready
and willing to take charge of her care.
She wants to attend medical office visits armed with succinct, well
thought out questions so that none of her “12 minute” office
visits are wasted.
- She adheres to the medical treatment plan that she has coordinated
with her health care provider and…
- She is willing to make diet, exercise and lifestyle changes knowing
that small, targeted changes today will yield significant beneficial
health results tomorrow.
- She is willing to be held accountable for her actions and decisions
about her health and diligently seeks out information and educational
opportunities to learn more about what she can do to affect the disease
processes in her favor.
Our programs provide the information, skills and support needed to conquer
painful menstrual cramps, heavy (periods) bleeding, hot flashes, bone
loss, bladder weakness and pending or recent gynecologic (“female”)
surgery. We also offer programs to support a woman before, during and
after pregnancy and delivery. If you are unsure if we can help you, call
for a consultation.
Testimonials
"The Stability Ball Class taught by Darline
Turner-Lee is great! It has improved my energy level, increased my stamina
and improved my balance. All of these improvements are very important
to me because I have a toddler to keep up with!"
--Aimee Strey, Leander,
TX
"I began working with Darline Turner-Lee
in March of 2002. She prepared an exercise program that has benefited
me in a number of ways, most notably by INCREASING my bone mass density.
The exercise program truly made the difference because neither my medication
nor lifestyle changed in any way. I have also ceased to have recurrent
urinary tract infections as a result of the program. Finally, I feel
and look so much better."
--Marilyn Johnson, Leander, TX
"I am in my 40's, have the early stages
of osteoporosis, am going through perimenopause and have a very active,
demanding life. I hired Darline to help me get my eating and exercise
regimen back in line with my body's needs. She has inspired me to take
charge of my health, but what's really awesome is her extensive knowledge
of nutrition and physiology. Plus, she has been very willing and generous
in giving me the information that I need to understand the "how's"
and "why's" of my new eating and exercise program. I knew
hiring Darline was going to make a difference in how I feel and the
amount of energy, sstrength and good health I enjoy, but I was pleasantly
surprised at just how MUCH. I'm sure she is helping me add years and
quality to my life."
